(Kitco News) - On Tuesday, Fortitude Gold (OTCQB: FTCO) announced preliminary second quarter production of 10,980 gold ounces, an increase of 11% over the prior quarter.
The company said that gold production for the first half of 2022 totaled 20,855 ounces, adding that mine operations at the Isabella Pearl gold mine are now focused exclusively on the high-grade phase two Pearl zone.
Importantly, Fortitude pointed out that it maintains its 2022 annual production outlook of 40,000 gold ounces (a range of 36,000 to 40,000 ounces).
Fortitude Gold is a U.S. based gold producer. The company’s Nevada Mining Unit consists of five high-grade gold properties located in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt and a sixth high-grade gold property in west central Nevada.
