Global Lithium boosts resources by 149% at its lithium projects in Western Australia

(Kitco News) - Australian lithium company Global Lithium Resources (ASX: GL1) today announced a "game-changing" updated JORC mineral resource estimate for its two 100%-owned hard rock lithium projects in Western Australia.

The company said that its WA hard-rock lithium projects - Manna and Marble Bar – achieve a 148.5% resource increase to 50.7Mt @ 1.0% Li2O, with a 230% increase in the Manna lithium project's mineral resource to 32.7Mt @ 1.0% Li2O, and a 71% increase in the Marble Bar lithium project's mineral resource to 18.0Mt @ 1.0% Li2O.

Importantly, Global Lithium noted that both projects demonstrate significant scope for further growth in mineral resources, adding that commercial discussions with a range of OEMs, battery and chemical companies continue to gather momentum.

Global Lithium Resources is a diversified West Australian focused mining exploration company with multiple assets in key lithium branded jurisdictions with a primary focus on the 100%-owned Marble Bar lithium project in the Pilbara region and the Manna lithium project in the Goldfields, Western Australia.

The company's major shareholders include Suzhou TA&A Ultra Clean Technology Co. Limited (Suzhou TA&A), a controlling shareholder of Yibin Tianyi Lithium, a joint venture between Suzhou TA&A (75%) and CATL (25%), the world's largest EV battery producer, and ASX listed Mineral Resources Limited.
