There is a lot of momentum building in the resource sector said Ellis Martin who heads the Ellis Martin Report.

Kitco Mining correspondent Paul Harris spoke to Martin at Mines and Money London held from November 29 to December 1.

Ellis is a talk show host and motivational speaker.

Martin identified where he is looking.

"As an investor I'm looking at companies that have pending M&A deals with some of the majors and mid-tier companies—I'm very patient with that," said Ellis. "I haven't sold anything during the last two years, and I just see that building. There's lots of opportunities right now to average down and to buy in at bargain prices." Ellis added that the resource companies are hardened by past experience to benefit when commodity prices rebound.

"They've survived markets like this before, and they're really well positioned...for the coming bull market."
