Mining CEO Of The Year 2022 to be announced in March at PDAC

(Kitco News) - Kitco Mining will announce its Mining CEO Of The Year 2022 winners at the world's biggest mining conference.

Kitco's annual presentation will be part of its coverage during the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention, which runs from March 4 - 8, 2023, in Toronto.

The award recognizes exceptional vision and leadership. Was the CEO able to drive value and exceptional investor returns? There will be awards in both the operating and non-operating categories.

"Kitco's CEO Of The Year award is a prestigious honor bestowed upon leaders who've made a significant impact within the mining sector," said mining audiences manager Michael McCrae. "Company leaders had to navigate an exceptionally challenging 2022 with central bank tightening and wild swings in commodities."

McCrae said the leaders selected this year will join an elite group of past winners, who include Clive Johnson at B2Gold and Chris Taylor at Great Bear Resources.

The finalists for the award will be announced later this month.

The winners in each of the two categories will be announced on March 8, 2023, during the final day of the PDAC convention.
