(Kitco News) - Finland-focused gold producer Endomines said today that H1 2023 production at its Pampalo mine increased by 94.1% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
According to a company press release, Pampalo’s production during H1 2023 was 6,753 oz (H1 2022: 3,478 oz).
For 2023, the company’s production is expected to increase by 35–55% compared to the previous year, in line with the previous guidance.
“Our production continued on a strong growth path in April-June, and we are very pleased about production volume achieved in January-June 2023. Strong production creates a solid foundation to successfully execute other strategic focus areas,” stated CEO Kari Vyhtinen.
Endomines Finland owns gold operations in Pampalo, Ilomantsi region, and focuses on gold mining and processing, as well as exploration in the Karelian gold line, in Eastern Finland. The company also owns the rights to seven gold deposits in the US.
