Mining equipment company Epiroc said today that revenue was up 34% in Q2.

"Customer activity remained high, especially in mining. We won several large equipment orders, albeit not at the same high level as in Q2 last year. The service business continued to perform well, supported by larger rebuilds of customers’ equipment," wrote the company in a news release.

Epiroc is based in Stockholm, Sweden, had revenues of SEK 50 billion (US$4.8 billion) in 2022, and has around 18,000 employees.

Epiroc said that automation, digitalization, and electrification are transforming the industry.
