Sandvik's revenue is up in Q2

Sandvik reported that its revenue grew 16% in the second quarter. The Swedish mining equipment producer released its Q2 results today.

The company said it was the ninth consecutive quarter with double-digit growth.

Total order intake amounted to SEK 31,660 million (28,740), corresponding to total growth of 10%, and 7% at fixed exchange rates, of which organic 3%. Sandvik reported strong momentum in mining automation with two significant orders received totaling SEK 220 million.

Sandvik provides services to manufacturing, mining and infrastructure industries. It has 40,000 employees.
