Kitco News - Patriot Battery Metals (TSX-V: PMET) announced yesterday that its non-executive chair, Ken Brinsden, will take over as CEO.
Brinsden led the development of Pilbara Minerals last decade. In 2016 he joined Pilbara Minerals and helped the company through corporate development, financing, project execution and ongoing production at Pilgangoora. The comany became an ASX 100 comany with a market cap currently sitting at AUD$11B.
Patriot said Brinsden will help power the company.
"With exploration to date at Corvette demonstrating a scale that is material to the future development of the North American lithium raw materials and chemicals supply chain, the company has decided to further bolster its Quebec presence," said the business in a news release. "The company considers it essential that key leadership be based in Quebec to grow executive and management capacity and to advance meaningful engagement with key local stakeholders to ensure the best possible opportunities for the timely development of the project."
Current CEO and president, Blair Way, will move into the chief operating officer role, as well as retaining his executive board position.
